See the iconic sights of Aix-en-Provence including the baroque and rococo 17th and 18th-century hôtels particular in the Quartier Mazarin, then a stroll along Cours Mirabeau a wide walkway shaded by rows of lush plane trees with mansions & restaurants that were the haunts of cultural icons including Camus & Cézanne. As we wander you'll notice the city’s famous fountains many Roman springs that have been hydrating Aix for thousands of years. We will visit the gardens of Pavillon Vendôme, La cathédrale Saint-Sauveur, Le Tour de l'Horloge & l'Hotel de Ville, built in 1510 and the adjoining Provençal markets in addition to visiting a number of local shops selling high quality local produce. It's a visit at your pace.

See the iconic sights of Avignon, an historic city best known for being the location the Popes fled to after leaving Rome in the 14th century. The impressive Palais des Papes – one of the Avignon's best known sites is on our list. There are so many landmarks and buildings to discover across the city and gorgeous squares to sit back and watch the world go by. As well as all the history it also has a lively, modern feel with lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. The visit will incorporate a mix of it all including the renowned market hall. Finally, Pont Saint-Bénézet one of Avignon’s most iconic sites - the bridge, much of which was washed away in the 17th century is a nod to the history of the city, surrounded with myth and legend.

Arles became one of the most important cities of the Roman colony Gaul founded by Julius Caesar in 46 BC.This classical town has wonderfully preserved ruins, includes - the Amphithéâtre d'Arènes, Cloisters of Saint-Trophime, the Roman Theatre and Thermes de Constantin, the Musée Réattu. Arles has a pleasant Provençal ambience, leafy public squares and slow-paced lifestyle. Our visit will include historic monuments &  enjoying a leisurely stroll with time to relax at the shaded terraces of outdoor cafés. For art lovers we will also follow the Van Gogh Trail to see the scenes of the artist's famous paintings.
