Established in 1855 by Baron Émile Double, the château has remained in the same family for four generations. We will arrive to collect you from your hotel, chambre d'hôte, villa or apartment.
This is a great day out for lovers of fine wine and the best food that Provence has to offer. We begin the day with a walking tour of the old town street markets of Aix-en-Provence to absorb the flavours of Provence. (Some days of the week the market is smaller than others) Time for a snack or light lunch before driving north to the country estate of Château de Beaupré for a visit and wine tasting. The Beaupré estate dates back to the middle of the 19th century, but the Provençal Bastide was built in 1739. Château de Beaupré wines are Coteaux D'Aix-en-Provence AOC. Next Château Bonisson an award winning winemaker of Provence wines featuring an art centre specialising in contemporary art with different exhibitions throughout the year. Both vineyards are family owned renowned for their excellent wines. From here return to your hotel or villa.
