Your day begins at the beautiful Château La Verrerie, an outstanding wine estate nestled in the heart of the Luberon, where vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields create one of Provence's most spectacular landscapes. Situated between Provence and the Southern Rhône Valley, the estate is one of the leading producers of the Luberon Appellation, established in 1988. During a guided visit and tasting, discover wines that beautifully express the character of this unique terroir. Continue to Bastide du Laval, one of Provence's most acclaimed olive estates. Here you'll enjoy a guided tour of the modern olive mill before tasting a selection of award-winning extra virgin olive oils, gaining an insight into one of the region's oldest culinary traditions.
Your journey then takes you to the elegant village of Lourmarin, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Enjoy time at leisure to wander its charming streets, browse independent boutiques and art galleries, or relax in one of its inviting cafés before lunch.
After lunch, visit the magnificent Château de Lourmarin, one of the finest Renaissance châteaux in Provence. Beautifully restored, the château offers a fascinating glimpse into the region's rich architectural and cultural heritage. The day concludes with a visit to Domaine La Cavale, an architecturally striking winery near the picturesque village of Cucuron. Tour itinerary
We will arrive to collect you from your hotel, chambre d'hôte, villa or apartment.
We leave by car first to Château La Verrerie, wine tasting and a visit to the domaine, onwards to visit Bastide du Laval with a tasting of olive oil at one of the Luberon's most prestigious producers. Next a short drive through the countryside to Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon, time for a light lunch, some shopping and a tour of the castle. Then on through to Cucuron and Domaine La Cavale, another estimable Luberon wine maker.
Wine tastings & visits at two vineyards, a visit to the Renaissance Château in Lourmarin, olive oil tasting at the Bastide and time to discover two of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon makes for an exceptional experience in Provence. From here we return to your hotel or villa.
