One-Day Private Painting Experience
Itinerary: Your day begins with private collection from your hotel, villa, bed & breakfast, or guest accommodation before travelling into the heart of the Luberon. Our destination is the beautiful hilltop village of Saignon—one of Provence's lesser-known treasures and undoubtedly one of its most enchanting villages. With its narrow cobbled streets, ancient stone houses, panoramic viewpoints, and peaceful atmosphere, Saignon provides the perfect setting for a day of creative inspiration.
In the afternoon, continue to the nearby village of Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. Here you'll spend time painting and sketching amongst its charming cobbled streets, elegant squares, and around its magnificent Renaissance château. With its beautiful architecture, shaded cafés, and timeless Provençal atmosphere, Lourmarin provides the perfect setting to conclude your day of artistic inspiration.
After taking time to explore the village and absorb its unique character, we'll choose two carefully selected painting locations, each offering a different perspective and artistic challenge. Throughout the day you'll receive personalised guidance from your tutor while working en plein air, allowing you to capture the extraordinary light, colours, and timeless beauty of Provence.
Following a relaxed picnic lunch, there will be time to continue painting and refining your work before returning to your accommodation in the early evening.

Day One – Saignon
Spend the day painting in the enchanting hilltop village of Saignon, one of Provence's best-kept secrets. With its winding cobbled streets, ancient stone houses, panoramic viewpoints, and peaceful atmosphere, Saignon provides an exceptional setting for en plein air painting. Throughout the day you'll work from a selection of carefully chosen viewpoints, receiving personalised guidance while capturing the village's timeless beauty and distinctive Provençal character.
Day Two – Roussillon & Le Sentier des Ocres
Today's workshop takes you to the vibrant village of Roussillon, celebrated for its extraordinary palette of ochre reds, golds, and burnt oranges. Explore the spectacular Sentier des Ocres, where dramatic cliffs and colourful rock formations create one of Provence's most remarkable natural landscapes. With the changing light and rich earthy tones as your inspiration, you'll enjoy a full day of painting in one of the region's most iconic artistic settings.
Each day a relaxed picnic lunch, with time afterwards to continue painting and at the end of each day, we'll return you to back to your accommodation, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your evenings at leisure.

Itinerary: Your five-day creative journey begins with private collection from your hotel, villa, bed & breakfast, or guest accommodation each morning before travelling to some of the most inspiring landscapes and villages in Provence. Every day offers a new location, fresh artistic inspiration, and the opportunity to develop your painting skills while working en plein air with personalised guidance from your tutor.
Day One – Saignon
Discover the timeless beauty of the hilltop village of Saignon, one of the Luberon's hidden gems. Its quiet streets, ancient stone houses, dramatic viewpoints, and peaceful atmosphere provide the perfect setting for your first day of painting.
Day Two – Roussillon & Le Sentier des Ocres
Paint amongst the spectacular ochre landscapes of Roussillon, where vibrant shades of red, orange, and gold create one of Provence's most distinctive natural settings. Explore Le Sentier des Ocres before choosing inspiring locations to capture this extraordinary landscape.
Day Three – Lacoste & L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Day Four – Mont Sainte-Victoire & the Vineyards
Follow in the footsteps of Paul Cézanne as you paint the iconic silhouette of Mont Sainte-Victoire, one of the most celebrated landscapes in French art. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, you'll experience the remarkable light that inspired so many of Cézanne's masterpieces.
Day Five – Lourmarin & the Château
Conclude your painting holiday in the elegant village of Lourmarin, with its boutique-lined streets, cafés, Renaissance château, and relaxed Provençal atmosphere. It's the perfect setting for a final day of creativity before returning with a portfolio of paintings and unforgettable memories.
