Provence is one of the oldest wine regions in France - in fact it was the Greeks in 600BC that first brought vines here, so it's only natural that we pride ourselves on the excellent selection of Rosé wine that Provence is famous for. On this tour you will visit three exceptional wine makers with a unique history and heritage in winemaking - Château de Beaupré, six generations of wine making heritage that began in 1855, Château Bonisson, a destination and source of inspiration & creativity and Château La Verrerie which sits between the Rhône and Provence. The estate covers 48 hectares and produces around 250,000 bottles each year. This is an experience of discovery, Provence is the world's largest production of Rose wine, many of which are regarded as some of the best in the world. Nowadays they also produce some excellent reds and whites - this experience will take you on a journey of discovery.
Tour itinerary & highlights
The morning begins with a visit to Château de Beaupré to explore a little the vineyard and a visit to the cave with wine tasting. It's a story of a family of six generations creating award winning wines. From here a short drive to Château La Verrerie, visit to the cellars & tasting. Then an optional lunch stop in a village bistro in a nearby Provencal village (lunch not included) Afterwards a visit to Château Bonisson famed for its excellent wines and contemporary art. The morning is spent at one vineyard and the afternoon at the other two.
The tour can begin at Aix-en-Provence or Marseille, you can specify this when you make a reservation.

The total duration of the tour is 7 hours, assuming pick-up in Aix-en-Provence or Marseille. (Avignon is also available - just ask at the time of booking)
